Rajrappa is located in Ramgarh district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. Rajrappa is a project under Central Coalfields Limited (CCL), a subsidiary of Coal India Limited. It is one of the biggest coal-fields in its region. It is widely known as Rajrappa Project, which consist of the main quarry (a huge open cast mine), offices, colonies, recreation facilities, shopping complexes, a police out-post and public utility buildings. It is a complete township in itself. It is a tourist place and is famous for the 'Chinnamasta Temple' which is situated on the bank of the confluence of rivers Bhairavi (Bhera) and Damodar. The temple itself is nestled amidst dense plantation 8 kilometers away from the Colony. The place gets its name from the Chinnamasta temple which is commonly known as 'Rajrappa Mandir'.
There are many other places to visit which are loosing their name and history. This site is made to tell you all about these places so that they we the people of India could save our historical monuments for our future generation from which they will know the history.
